Hollow sodium-filled exhaust valves to help reduce temperature in the combustion chamber.

The updated six-speed transmission realizes smoother shifting and improved controllability.

Suzuki Clutch Assist System (SCAS) realizes a light touch to clutch lever operation that helps reduce fatigue on long rides and contributes to smoother shifting.

The V-STROM 1050DE adopts a new stronger drive chain with sturdier links and pins.
A new custom 5-inch full-colour TFT LCD multi-function instrument panel features clearly legible information displays, keeping the rider fully informed on the motorcycle’s systems and settings, and supplying real-time operating status information.

The tachometer doubles as a programmable RPM indicator light that blinks when the engine reaches a preset speed.

The display setting can be manually switched between Day (white) and Night (black) displays or this can be done automatically, ensu visibility is maximised at any hour and in any riding situation.
